Thursday photo prompt : Untrodden

Copyright Sue Vincent

All along the untrodden paths of the future, holding and hiding the sun of dreams in my palms, I keep on moving.
December evening, thousands of needles they pierce through the body, but I keep on moving.
Life is incessant, only forms change.
Fauna and flora, nature….
Everything is in a continuous change, so I keep on moving.
Dreams in my eyes, eagerness to absorb all new and old, so I keep on moving.

With love,

Three Things About Myself:

  • I am big lover of art.
  • I am born and brought up in Himachal (India), finished my studies in Delhi and staying in Mumbai at present.
  • I am a big fan of movie stars like Leonard DiCaprio, Aamir Khan and Lee Min Ho (famous for his Korean dramas).

My answers to Jenna Questions are:

If you had to sum yourself up in 3-5 words, how would you describe yourself?
Loyal, Trustworthy, and easygoing.

If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow what would it be and why?
Treat others as you want to be treated. Spread love , happiness and kill corruption.

What’s a book that you’ve read or a movie that you’ve watched that had a big impact on you and why?
Rather than any book or movie my father has more impact on me in every sense, he is a person of substance. However, as you asked about book or movie…. I think in books it’s Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë as its my first novel, I read in my school days, and I liked Jane’s such an unusual heroine, poor, small and plain, but with such a fiery and determined spirit that she makes a marvellous feminist rolemodel and in movie the Pursuits of happyness it’s based on true story, and I learnt from it – If you want something, go get it Period.

What’s an adventure that you haven’t done yet, but would love to have and why?
I want to experience La Tomatina. La Tomatina festival is high on my bucket list because I feel I will enjoy this crazy event.

If you were to enter a parallel universe where everything is the opposite what would that look like to you?
If I am gotten into the parallel universe as they say it exists and everything is opposite, I will love it because if it’s opposite, then I will not see corruption, people pain, anger and poverty anymore which I feel exist more in this Universe.

Thanks for reading❤️

Life is What you Make it!

Word Inspiration is integral when we think about our career, because when we choose our career, we get inspired about what kind of career will bring us “joy.”

Few months back I was taking guest lectures in one Media College on Documentary film making. I asked students why they chose film studies, what inspired them but to my surprise very few knew that they chose film studies as they wanted to make films, and they have a passion for films and cinematography. However, 70% students choose this field because they don’t want to do engineering or medicine, and they thought it was fun to do film studies. And in fifteen days of my classes, I noticed that half of them are not serious about what they are doing, they are just wasting parent’s money, which was really sad. More than money or even a sense of passion the career path you choose must give you a sense of purpose. And when you have this, you’ll be able to push the limits.

Now why I mentioned joy so early in this discussion of career. Joy is something very important part of our lives. Joy come when we get perfect freedom and love for a job we do. It is tragic indeed to see so many of us trapped in jobs that suffocate our very essence of Joy. When I choose my career, I just thought ” I have nothing to fear, I make the choice to hold my joy in my mind as I think of my career.” Stay in the moment with your wishes say to yourself this moment when change occurs. Today is the day and at the moment is the time. The purpose of life is to eventually discover your path, and the meaning of life is to achieve your goals in a purposeful and fulfilling manner. Always ask yourself, am I happy in what I’m doing or only trying to make others happy. Identify your interest and then identify a career that aligns with your interest. Everyone’s one has a unique talent, identify what yours skill set. Be not afraid to swell in love for one another. Use your power to know what you want! And use it well!

Thursday photo prompt : Hidden

Copyright Sue Vincent

I can hear clearly when I am surrounded by timeless river breeze…

Always looking deep into the skies, One wonder’s what I use to write.

It seems hidden memories of time gone by, a poignant evening set in.

During hours of darkness, fairies arrive.

Not seen by many, they stay all night, In the pure air around me;

I can suddenly feel, and realize everything is within my reach.

I graciously accept best in my life.

With love,

Be grateful!

Do you believe in Miracles, I think miracles happen all the time.
Miracles happen to only those who believe in them. I am grateful that miracles happens to me. I am grateful that whenever I want something, I get.

For me, the source of miracles is gratitude. One such moment was when I wanted to meet real magician Dynamo, I became his huge fan. I am not someone who is fascinated by a celebrity or famous person as I stay in Mumbai and use to work in Entertainment industry.
However, Dynamo’s magic tricks and extraordinary stunts have amazed me. And I expressed my desire to my husband that I want to meet him. And to my surprise, he visited India in few months, and I got chance to meet him personally in his greenroom back stage. It’s like miracle for me. And I am grateful that my Husband was working for History TV 18 that time because of which it became possible.

My moment with Dynamo – The Magician

Many such incidents happened with me that I asked, and I get it. Maybe sometimes, it takes time but the universe always listens. Thanks to Universe and my beautiful surroundings. I am grateful for every blessing the universe has and will ever create for me.

So, have you shown your gratitude to those who have enabled you to grow in your Journey of life? I always felt thankful to my parents, my husband, my sibling, my teachers, my friends, my colleague and now to my daughter.

Many times we forget to focus on what we are grateful for. Instead, we focus on bringing up past unpleasant experience’s. This deteriorate our energy and it blocks miracles. When we keep an attitude of gratitude, we are working with our success and not against it.
So, be thankful!!
