  • Work on communication skills: Strong relationships are built on effective communication. Make an effort to really listen to each other and share both positive and negative feelings to keep the environment honest and open.
  • Adjust your expectations: Accept yourself and your relationship as they exist. Don’t expect too much from any relationship as we all have different expectations. Think from other’s point of view also.
  • Plan surprises for each other: Take turns planning dates or other surprises to keep your relationship exciting. Give pleasant surprises.

Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference. ~Winston Churchill I believe that life is beautiful, one should enjoy it and stay positive. This blog is about being positive and curious about mystery of mankind. Someone truly said expand your thoughts and you will enlarge your world. Follow this blog to see positive side of every aspect. It's about encouraging people to try out new pattern of thinking. Little about myself, With Ten years of experience as Television Producer, I started my career as an independent documentary filmmaker...I worked in television industry for decade....took break from industry when I delivered baby in 2015. One fine day I thought to write letter to my husband in which I wrote him how I see life....in the evening when he came home and instead of discussing letter part he asked me to start writing...as he thought I can express myself more in writing rather then as person. I thought blogging is out of box idea... The truth is, cheesy as it sounds, the internet has changed our lives. And now I can share my thoughts with whole world :)

  1. I agree so much about the importance of relationships in one’s life. Relationships are a critical component of PERMA theory, which is a theory proposed by positive psychologist Marty Seligman about what it means to live a meaningful and fulfilling life. I write about this in my own blog posts as well, so feel free to check it out and leave any contributions that you would like to the content. Thanks for writing this article! I think it is critically important that everybody learns more about the science behind well-being!

  2. Thank you so much for writing this post! It’s so important and I’d go as far as to say it’s very overlooked in today’s society. Deep connections and social interaction have major mental (and also physical) benefits. I remember my dad once saying to me that to nurture friendships is not a luxury but a necessity in life, and I’ll always try to remember that.
