Today I came across this video and it’s true story….few year back I guess in 2011 or 12 – I met this lady name Sindhutai Sapkal in one Award ceremony. She is much more than just a name. The 70-year-old lady hides many stories behind her strong personality. Full of energy and passion, Sindhutai is commonly referred to as β€œMother of Orphans”. Please do watch video to know her full story. Lady full of compassion.

Having compassion, which is the ability to understand the emotional state of another person and then want to alleviate their suffering, makes us feel connected and part of a group. It gives us purpose and it grounds us. Without compassion we are bound to feel alone.

Every day we have an opportunity to change someone’s life by paying attention to their needs. Every day someone else has the opportunity to change our lives for the same reason. The human experience is based on exchange and connectedness. If people become more compassionate like Sindhutai, I guess world will become better place.

Thank you for watching and readingπŸ’•

  1. What a beautiful and inspiring experience! Sadly, I feel compassion is decreasing in this me first world. More people are only concerned about themselves. However, experiences like this give me hope that there are still people out these that put others first and it’s beautiful. She mimics the qualities of Jehovah God who is described in the holy scriptures as β€œmerciful, compassionate, slow to anger and abundant in loyal love” (Psalms 103:8) Thank you for sharing!
