Happy Birthday Kyaraa🎂🌸

Today it’s Kyaraa’s Birthday, so full week I was busy with preparations. My daughter Kyaraa has always loved the Little Mermaid, so we went for it! Of all the Disney characters, She can relate to this one the most. She asked me to order Ariel Memaid cake, and she wanted to wear green dress.

Today my heart is so full of love and gratitude. Today my mind feels enlightened, and my love feels strengthened. Today more than normal, I smile at the little things and cherish each moment of happiness.

I am happy that all went well and Kyaraa really enjoyed her birthday with her friends. What a Happy day for my Kyaraa! Happy birthday my sweet 4 year old Mermaid!”

With love 🌸

Think Pink

Holi is considered as one of the most celebrated festivals of India and it is celebrated in almost every part of the country. It is also sometimes called as the “festival of love” as on this day people get to unite together forgetting all resentments and all types of bad feeling towards each other.

I prefer to play holi but only with water, no color. So my daughter asked me to gift her holi water bag pichkari (water gun) on this holi. I promised her to bring it, but I really had tough time as she wanted only pink color in it and no other color. Thank fully in one shop, I got a pink color mini mouse water bag with a red color gun. However, she refused to take that as she only wanted pink. She said “Pink is only my favourite color”. I don’t know why she is so obsessed with pink.

So while I was moving in search of the pink color holi water bag pichkari (water gun), this sign board came in front of me as if someone wants to tell me, please don’t get annoyed and “think pink”.

No words, what you think you See. So we moved to another shop again with these colorful bags. Check this out.

After half an hour of convincing her finally, she agreed for a frozen blue color bag. Thank god!!

You guys enjoy Holi, Festival of Colors. Take care and Happy Holi.

Painting Activity with little Miss Kyaraa 💖

Painting can help your children communicate their emotions or feelings. Through the use of different colors, they can express themselves without the use of words. Painting allows children an educational opportunity that is also fun and exciting. I always encourage my little one to paint whatever she wants.

Kyaraa wanted to do some painting activity. She loves paints, bright colours and whenever she has nothing to do, she asks me for brush and paints.

We stay in an apartment in Mumbai, which has a small gallery too.

I was thinking to get some beautiful plant pots since a while as the pots which we have are the ugly black and brown pots. I thought why not paint the pots today itself creatively and add to the gallery garden’s beauty.

That’s when we both decided to paint our own pots. We ended up creating a lot of mess but as we all know to make a masterpiece, a little bit of mess is the first requirement !!! Kyaraa really enjoyed this activity, and results were amazing.

Happy Smiley face 😇

Kyaraa busy in painting

My favorite one with combination of white, gold and black.

Completely involve as want to impress her Dad with some amazing stuff.

Happy Gallery

Kyaraa painted and I gave it final touch with tooth brush spray painting.

Thinking deeply

Finally all done and we are very happy.

Art by little Miss Kyaraa

Art is the perfect messy fun for kids and makes for ideal sensory play. My 3 and half year love using brush and play with Colors. I love to watch her painting. I see a fully engaged child when she paints.
Painting is a way for children to do many important things: convey ideas, express emotion, use their senses, explore color, explore process and outcomes. Here is some messy art by my little Picasso.

Return To Innocence!!!

Children are beautiful because they possess something that we have all lost – the quality of innocence.

Kyaraa Doll house

When I watch my 3 year old daughter, Kyaraa, playing for an hour with her Barbie singing to herself, I know I see it… that’s innocence.
Innocence goes deeper than ignorance. It is some mysterious operation of the imagination, the part that can enter mental universes from which one is soon to be forever excluded.

A child can teach adult a lot:

  • To be happy for no reason
  • To be always be curious
  • To fight tirelessly for something
  • To be focused
  • To be imaginative

The innocence of children is their wisdom. It makes them stand out. There is magic of creativity and curiosity in their innocence. There is joy of freedom and happiness in childhood. In their innocent eyes, dreams are born. Let’s learn from children and return to innocence.

I love this song Return To Innocence… It reminds me how this world needs to learn art of innocence. How we need to return to our self.
