This is a response to the Freedom of Expression challenge – Memories curated by Richa – Iscriblr.
Memories are important, when I saw this prompt Memories given by Richa, I just thought that only real treasures in my head are memories that no one can steal from me. From childhood days to hostel days to working days, dating days and then motherhood, I have so many memories that I can’t share in one post. So I decided to write a small poem on the same.
Sitting on the window,
In my mind,
Memories of my childhood,
Memories of my youth,
And now memories as mother.
How do I forget?
All those memory lane,
Memories as a child,
Memories of youth,
And now memories as mother,
All these memories make me and define me who I am,
What I believe,
What my experience is?
These are the memories & Live with me.
Many a time Out of the blue,
I recall those gifts of being crazy and passionate about me,
And how I’ve grown as a person.
It’s like a diary of my life that I carry with myself.
I’m building my own little library, embedded in my heart,
It’s beautiful world of me in my mind.
Thank you for reading 💖
